Open the box!

IMGP1010You remember the show? The quiz show whose finale resounded with the cry “take the money or open the box” but who knew what was within? Would the thus far lucky contestant gamble everything they had won up to this point for a peek in the mystery box? The suspens builds…would they do it…

Now to be fair my box isn’t quite such a mystery, but at least it’s a box. As such I opened it eagerly as it was a box of goodies from the esteemed German pen manufacturer Kaweco.

For those of you who don’t know Kaweco has originally been around making pens since 1863 with the marque being relaunched in 1994 by h&m Gutberlet gmbh. Since then the revived brand has seemingly gone from strength to strength and is perhaps most well-known for its Sport series of fountain pens.

This is a package of pens and inks to review for the blog. So here is a sneak preview of what is to come… Just a note, although Kaweco do not advertise on this blog I should state here and now that I received these products for review purposes at no charge from the good people over at #TeamKaweco. I’ll be reviewing all these items in the coming weeks, Lord willing…

  1. Lucky bum. Amazing products to review. I love my kaweco pen. I really enjoy the colors of their pens. Mine is the yellow ice….a fun funky color. The pen writes like a dream (fine nib). I’ll be interested to read your review.

  2. Wow. That’s a veritable treasure chest of Kaweco products. At least you won’t be shy of stuff to review. I have a Kaweco pen, and I’m interested in seeing how their other pens turn out.

    1. Thanks for the comment, which Kaweco do you have? I think I’m going to review the Elite next, should be interesting. BTW loving the Pilot custom heritage 91…thanks again!

      1. Glad you’re enjoying it. The 91 is a great pen. As for Kaweco I have the Cult Pens Mini Fountain pen which is made by Kaweco, and has the same nib as the AL/AC Sport. It’s a good little pen that I carry with me every day.
